2Justification

The problem or need

Fault reports from the chamber’s buildings and branches (air-conditioning, committee and training-hall equipment, lifts, lighting) reach us from branch managers and hall coordinators by phone and email with no single reference number, and about a third get lost between the department and the maintenance contractors.

Today

Average response time is 9.4 days, 31% of reports are closed without a site check, and 46 sectoral-committee meetings and training sessions were postponed in 2025 because of hall faults.

3Objectives

  1. One reporting platform — a mobile app for the branches and a live console — that routes every report to the responsible maintenance team or contractor and brings response time down to 3 days by the end of 2027, and to one day for committee-hall faults.

Strategic objectives served

  • SO-2.1 — High-quality, value-adding digital core services for members
  • SO-2.2 — A better member experience and service quality
