Problem
Fault reports from the chamber’s buildings and branches (air-conditioning, committee and training-hall equipment, lifts, lighting) reach us from branch managers and hall coordinators by phone and email with no single reference number, and about a third get lost between the department and the maintenance contractors.
Current state
Average response time is 9.4 days, 31% of reports are closed without a site check, and 46 sectoral-committee meetings and training sessions were postponed in 2025 because of hall faults.
Objective
One reporting platform — a mobile app for the branches and a live console — that routes every report to the responsible maintenance team or contractor and brings response time down to 3 days by the end of 2027, and to one day for committee-hall faults.
Expected scope
An app for branch and hall coordinators, an operations console, integration with hall booking and the existing maintenance contracts, and repeat-fault analytics by building.
Expected benefits
Time & speed
Response time down from 9.4 to 3 days
Savings
SAR 210K a year in maintenance savings from early detection
Customer satisfaction
Branch staff satisfaction with facilities up from 61% to 80%
